The Morning After Pill/Plan B:
This pill contains a high dose of the hormone progestin. It prevents or ends pregnancy. It is also know as "emergency contraceptive."
This pill is designed to be taken in two doses. The first pill is supposed to be taken with the first 72 hours after intercourse, followed by the second pill 12 hours later.
